Family Service Weekend

It’s the second Sunday of the month again, so in advance of the Family Service at St John’s, Aldford, tomorrow at 10:15 am, we are releasing the monthly video today.

You can find it here.

We are releasing it today so that you can watch the video and still come to the service tomorrow.

We will thinking about being grateful and saying “Thank you” to God.

Don’t forget to pick up your “Church in a Bag” when you arrive.

If you are unable to come to the service tomorrow, the “Church in a Bag” resources will be available for download here from tomorrow morning.

Have a lovely weekend.

August Newsletter is here!

The August edition of the St John’s and St Mary’s Parish Newsletter is now available here.

Due to the current health crisis this edition will not be printed and distributed. It will only be available online.

If you have the ability to print double sided pages, then download the file and print as a booklet with a “short-Edge binding”

Calling all writers: We need you!

The parish newsletter is published every month, but to keep it interesting and relevant to our community, it requires local people to submit articles and ideas. It could be a reflection of some kind, a recipe, or just an amusing story. Why not give it a try?

Thank you!

Sunday 26th July

Jules is away this weekend so there is no recorded service from St Peter’s in Waverton.

Instead we are offering a reflection, which was delivered last week as a sermon at St John’s, Aldford.

You can find it here.

Because of the current Covid-19 pandemic we are unable to provide an activity area for children during our services.

Instead we are offering “Church in a Bag.”

Each bag will contain a number of activities, and a snack, for the children to use during the service.

If you have been unable to attend a service and would like the resources, they will be available here.

Hope you enjoy these.
